Ballari District Chamber of Commerce & Industry was Established in the year 1953. Founder President is Shri. Guduthur Thimmappa. Till this day 21 Presidents has Voluntarily served this organization. As on date 12 Hon. Secretaries has spared their precious time for the betterment of the organization on Honorary basis. Ballari District Chamber of Commerce and Industry celebrated its Golden Jubilee Celebration in the year 2003. H.H. Shri. T. N. Chaturvedi, the then Governor of Karnataka Inaugurated the Golden Jubilee Celebration. The Chamber has now more than 1600 distinguished members from all over District.

The main objectives is to promote and develop trade and industry and bring in unity and integrity among trade and business community. Other objectives are to build-up and disseminate information on trade and industry to its member body, to provide a forum for business mission from abroad by developing bilateral trade with foreign companies and to sponsor business mission to other countries from time to time, to set up exhibition on trade and business. BDCC&I has played a significant role in the spread of Higher Education in Ballari District. We have been encouraging the meritorious students every year by felicitating them with merit certificate and momento. The Chamber is affiliated to FICCI, New Delhi, FKCC&I, Bengaluru, KASSIA & ASSOCHAM, KCC&I, Hubballi, Bellary Chamber News a monthly bulletin is published by the Chamber for the benefit of our members and Trade and Businessmen. It motivates by giving the up-dated trade and industrial information, plans and policies.
